Hey there. Guess what? I’m still kickin’. Since my last post way back in April this is what I have been doing:
Spending quality time with my loves
Working like a fool to maintain straight A’s
And cooking up this bun in my oven
Yep. Baby Four will be joining us this winter. We found out on July 9th that baby is a boy. His due date is Christmas day, but he will likely make his appearance 1-2 weeks before that as I was one week early with both the girls and two weeks early with Grayson. Baby Four cooperated enough so we could find out he was a HE, but was face down so we couldn’t get any “cute” profile shots. What we got was a lot of “looking down” on him shots and his back. He is wiggling around quite a bit in there though and I can’t wait until I can feel him.
For those who are the nosy kind…he was not an accident and he will be our last. With our cute family of six, an even number of girls and boys, we are done.
I will likely get gestational diabetes again (at 24 weeks or so) because I had it with my other babies too, and, no, it doesn’t stay…the diabetes goes away after my babies are born, but always comes back once pregnant. Also, I possibly have Placenta Previa. Which freaks me out cause if I do I will have to have a c-section, which is something I have never had. Even with my “big” babies. Hopefully my next ultrasound shows that the placenta has “moved” so surgery can be avoided. If not, I will deal with it after freaking out for a while. It’s how I function.
I don’t plan on taking a leave of absence from school as I will be on winter break around the time baby boy is born and I feel like I can do it all – at the moment.
I also want to quickly apologize to anyone I flaked out on in the blog world. There is a lot on my plate with school, Irelyn starting kindergarten soon and this new baby. I let the email associated with this blog go so with that went my blog/design calendar and my contacts. I don’t plan on blogging as a regular thing as of right now, but maybe I will get back into it one day. I am going to have a lot of time to pass before baby boy gets here…168 days, to be exact.
December can’t get here soon enough.

Thanks, Rachael! We told the kids after I had the first ultrasound so I was around 9 weeks. They are excited. It’s the first time I have been pregnant where I’ve had kids old enough to really understand and participate in some of the things we need to do to get ready…it’s a whole new experience. They talk about the “baby in mommy’s tummy” constantly and tell him goodnight before they go to bed. It’s awesome.
